WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY?
An Capall Dubh B&B is a local family run B&B in a peaceful, secluded courtyard right in the heart of the delightful town of Dingle with its fishing harbour, fine restaurants, traditional pubs and art galleries. Although close to all that Dingle has to offer the accommodation is in a quiet location, ideal for those wanting to relax. There is a wheelchair accessible ground floor room while, on the first floor, 5 spacious en suite bedrooms, refreshingly decorated. Dingle is on the Wild Atlantic Way and the ideal location from which to explore the peninsula. Take the Slea Head Drive on the Wild Atlantic Way, a memorable experience, once done never forgotten. Dramatic seascapes, small coves, blue flag sandy beaches, archaeological sites(Cathair Deargain, Kilmalkedar, Gallarus), art and pottery studios, Mount Brandon, Ireland's second highest mountain, water sports including great surfing, fishing, trips to the Great Blasket Islands, 3 golf courses and so much more.
This was our second stay at An Capall Dubh. It is our go-to in Dingle. Great location, excellent service, easy parking, and fantastic food. Highly recommend it.
Our hosts were wonderful, the location was fantastic, parking was very convenient and an added perk. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend An Capall Dubh B&B to anyone visiting the Dingle area. This was our favorite spot on our travels thru Ireland.
An Capall Dubh proved to be an ideal base for our first time in Ireland and, especially, our stay in Dingle. Our en suite room was of a decent size, airy, and comfortable. The B&B is within walking distance of both harbour and town centre. Run by Patrick and Helena Curran, they are ever present during breakfast period, who help make it a warm and sociable place to stay. The "girls" staff are friendly and always very helpful, it is never difficult to get advice, on local amenities or places to visit, either from them, Helena, or Patrick. There is little doubt, at a future point in time, we will once again stay at An Capall Dubh.
