Dingle B&B: An Capall Dubh B&B is a local family run B&B in a peaceful, secluded courtyard right in the heart of the delightful town of Dingle with its fishing harbour, fine restaurants, traditional pubs and art galleries. Although close to all that Dingle has to offer the accommodation is in a quiet location, ideal for those wanting to relax. There is a wheelchair accessible ground floor room while, on the first floor, 5 spacious en suite bedrooms, refreshingly decorated. Dingle is on the Wild Atlantic Way and the ideal location from which to explore the peninsula. Take the Slea Head Drive on the Wild Atlantic Way, a memorable experience, once done never forgotten. Dramatic seascapes, small coves, blue flag sandy beaches, archaeological sites(Cathair Deargain, Kilmalkedar, Gallarus), art and pottery studios, Mount Brandon, Ireland's second-highest mountain, water sports including great surfing, fishing, trips to the Great Blasket Islands, 3 golf courses and so much more.
Wish we had stayed more than one night! Right in the heart of Dingle but tucked away with a cozy little quiet courtyard. Room was large with a queen and a twin bed, wood floors and ceiling beams, with great views from 2 large windows. Awesome shower water pressure was a plus! Breakfast and service was outstanding. Room at the top of stairs hears a lot of late night foot traffic. Looking forward to a future stay here.
This is simply one of the nicest BNBs my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip in Ireland. We originally had no plans to visit Dingle. We did this trip on the fly, planning each day based on recommendations from locals. We called An Capall Dinh to see if they had room - lucky for us they did! The location is perfect - walking distance to amazing restaurants, shopping, and pubs. The staff is welcoming and super friendly. The breakfast was awesome and exceeded my expectations. The owners also sat down and spoke with us about anything and everything during our breakfast. Amazing experience. Look forward to staying here again! Cheers!
I feel so incredibly lucky that my family and I found this charming B&B and we were able to stay here for a few perfect days in Dingle. First of all, the owners and staff are absolutely delightful. Every morning I was delighted to go to breakfast; the porridge was the best I have ever had, and every one of the staff was pleasant, sweet, and helpful. My children gobbled up the pancakes and eggs and loved hearing Helena's stories about the local area and the fairy rings. We stayed in one of the family cottages, and I loved the accommodations. Perfectly clean and comfortable with a glorious view of a neighboring field. We also took advantage of the very pretty courtyard and had a picnic lunch there one day with delicious cheese from the cheesemonger across the street. I can't say enough about this wonderful place. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We will absolutely be back, and I can't wait!
